Nađa Tatar got her B.A. in Journalism at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, and is cur-rently a master’s student at the European Regional Master’s Programme in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe (GC SEE/ERMA). During her studies, her research has primarily focused on how social inequalities are reproduced through urban environ-ments— with a particular interest in gender-related issues, as well as urban activism and different forms of civic engagement. Her current research interests lie at the intersection of critical urban studies, feminist geography, and practices of urban citizenship.

During her six-week internship at IPE, she will be working on articles and texts that aim to introduce the Institute’s current projects to wider audiences in the region.
