Oscar Krüger comes from a background in Social Anthropology and Human Ecology, both degrees which he completed at Lund University. He is presently pursuing a doctoral degree in Social Anthropology at the University of Kent.

As a research fellow at the Institute for Political Ecology, Oscar was working on a project to revive the works of Ivan Illich in order to scrutinize the joint foundations of both growth and sustainability.
