IPE is part of the two-year project\u00a0Festival for the Future: Building citizen engagement for a green, just, democratic and peaceful European Union<\/em>, coordinated by Transnational Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with our project partners\u00a0European Coordination Via Campesina (ECVC)<\/a> and its members\u00a0Associazione Rurale Italiana<\/a>\u00a0(ARI),\u00a0Frie B\u00f8nder<\/a>,\u00a0Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration paysanne<\/a>,\u00a0Toekomstboeren<\/a>, and\u00a0Mouvement d’Action Paysanne<\/a>;\u00a0the\u00a0Institute of Urban Politics (IUP)<\/a>, and the\u00a0Debt Observatory in Globalization<\/a> (ODG), we will engage people across Europe in discussing key questions of our time: how should Europe feed, provision, and fuel itself? What is really needed to keep us safe?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These discussions will involve civil society organisations, social movements, farmers, academic researchers, students, and reach out to marginalised groups. It will culminate in a Festival of the Futures event at the end of 2027 that brings together many of the people involved in previous stages of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
