INSPIRE. IGNITE.!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>IPE and <a href=\"https:\/\/policylab.si\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Policy Lab<\/a> (Slovenia) are happy to invite you to <strong>IMAGINE. INSPIRE. IGNITE.\u00a0Cross-Border Forum on Environmental Justice and Disinformation <\/strong>that\u00a0will take place <strong>from Friday, May 15 to Saturday, May 16 2026 in Kr\u0161ko<\/strong>. The event will open a space for reflection on environmental issues, disinformation, and democracy in border regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why forum?<\/strong><br>Border communities also in Slovenia and Croatia today often face a combination of environmental challenges, development pressures, and the spread of disinformation. These dynamics shape public debates, influence policymaking, and affect trust in democratic processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The forum addresses these intersections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>how disinformation spreads in local environments<\/li><li>how it shapes the understanding of climate and development issues, the role of civil society,<\/li><li>and how we can strengthen collaboration, participation, and community-driven initiatives.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who is it for?<\/strong><br>The forum is intended for young people between\u00a0<strong>18\u201335 years from Slovenia and Croatia<\/strong>\u00a0who are interested in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>environmental issues and justice<\/li><li>media, culture and disinformation<\/li><li>democracy, participation, and collaboration.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What can you expect?<\/strong><br>The programme combines discussions, workshops, and space for informal exchange:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>understanding how disinformation operates in local contexts<\/li><li>concrete examples of environmental and development-related conflicts<\/li><li>group work on solutions for more inclusive and informed decision-making<\/li><li>connecting with participants from Slovenia and Croatia<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not a traditional conference, but a space for co-creation, sharing experiences, and building new connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apply here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1SEqXeyco90qvDZTyWbTigPU7oz_c3nG8rWn7jih7R2U\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration\u00a0<\/a>extended to\u00a0Friday, 8.
