But it also points to a hopeful future: cities built around wellbeing, climate justice and democratic participation.
This free course offers both a critical lens and real-life, practical examples of how cities are putting people and planet before profit.
Each session focuses on a vital urban domain: housing, mobility, food, care, energy, democracy and digitalisation, highlighting bold policies and community-led alternatives already shaping post-growth futures.
